Mom’s Cheese “Straws”

Cheese Straw Recipe
These are a holiday tradition in our home. My mom makes them every year and they go quicker than we can pull them out of the oven. Ours don't look like straws because we opt to roll out the mixture and cut them so they look like little crips. However that doesn't make them any less tasty, I promise.

  1. preheat oven to 375*F
  2. Using a stand mixer or food processor combine all the ingredients until a ball of dough is formed.

  3. Press (cookie press) or cut dough then place on baking sheet
    sliced and ready for oven
  4. Bake for 15 Minutes or until golden brown. Store in an air tight container.

you can use a cookie press to get the straw for if you want or you can roll the dough out and cut it into any shape you want. It's best if you chill the dough mixture if you're going to be cutting it, makes for an easier process. this is the perfect recipe to get the kids involved (if you want) give as gifts or just keep and eat all yourself.
